Based on the design tradition of Iceland coupled with modern technology and experimental innovation, the exhibition highlights examples of functional solutions to the challenges facing design in e.g. mobility, flexibility and individuality.
During recent years, Iceland has grown as a design nation creating the basis for a solid increase in the quality of design related products and services. Icelandic Contemporary Design tells the interesting story of this development.
The exhibition is produced by Iceland Design Centre and presented in collaboration with the Danish Design Centre and The Icelandic Embassy in Denmark.
